Hello Again,

So much has happened since our last newsletter – we’ve met so many lovely people, learned a lot about our new business environment and generally had an interesting couple of months.  (Well almost – 7 weeks actually).

There was one very scary moment – a number of days really – when John suffered another heart attack. This one left us both quite shocked as we were assured all was well.  Apparently one of the five by-passess he had back in May – failed – so they by-passed the by-pass and put in 3 stents just for good measure.  I think he’s trying to age me FAST!!  But John being John – he’s back at work and carrying on as per usual – giving cheek and being mischevious.  Thank God!

DAI Cafe is developing a following – it’s lovely to greet people by name and welcome them back. Mark has been putting together a delicious menu and it is heartening to see customers coming back for the food they enjoyed so much last time.  As always, the coffee is the best around.

We have received a number of new items for the display rooms and I have included some pictures for those of you too far away to come and visit.  Let me know what you think.

So much serenity….

There are so many new things arriving daily.  You have so see and smell the beautiful new flameless candles that have just arrived.  A fabulous idea that relieves the stress of flames being left unattended.  Best of all – they work on a timer and then turn themselves off – so if you forget – it doesn’t matter.

The end of next week will see us preparing for Christmas – we begin the Ho Ho Ho season!!  My favourite time of year.  If only we could bottle all that ‘goodwill t’wards men'(& women!!) what a great world this would be.
