Hello again,

Can you believe it’s the end of April!  Before we know it half the year will be gone and we’ll be on the downward slope to Christmas…..  saying it softly…..

We have been busy visitng different showrooms on our Mondays off – so you see, not sitting at home with our feet up.  I just love Horgan’s mix of everyday items and ‘chic’.  Their showrooms are such a delight, filled with so many interesting items that insist you take another look.  One look isn’t enough!  I particularly like their chandliers.  A traditional light fitting – with a twist….literally!

A fantastic piece for over the dining table – or to greet your guests at the front door.  This light says ‘I’m proud to belong here’.  Stunning.

Another favourite of mine is the fabulous book case from Equator.  As well as being a practical piece of furniture it is a statement in itself.  You may have seen his cousin – the round book case – in earlier FaceBook postings, an item I am very keen to get in store.

It would look great as a room divider.  Books, flowers, ornaments and perhaps some flameless candles all add up to a beautiful space.

Another beautiful piece of furniture is the Bloom chair – right up there with the Rapunzel chair for me in the looks stakes.  Not for every home I’ll grant you – but I would love to see it in the right home!

Stunning isn’t it??

It’s not all work – we have some delightful interludes with customers.  Below is a favourite moment of mine – you can see why – my little friend is just adorable.  Thanks mum Yvette for sending me the photo.

Those of you who follow us on FaceBook will know that DAI Cafe changed our profile picture recently.  Something to better capture the ‘feel’ of the cafe and surrounds.  The feedback has been very positive – thank you friends.

Also on FaceBook has been our daily suggestions for Mothers Day gifts.  From jewellery to handbags, soaps to scarves, we have something for every mum.  If all else fails – there is the ‘Gift Certificate’.

So much more in store….

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all the mums a very special Mother’s Day.  I hope you get thoroughly spoilt and that it’s the best day yet.

And just to show that we do work together – another photo taken by the clever Yvette (many thanks) so now you know where we are and what we look like…..

So until next time, be sure to make time for yourself, and as always,

Keep smiling.
